The Parksville-Qualicum Fish and Game Association is a not-for-profit volunteer organization dedicated to the promotion and preservation of our outdoor recreation heritage and the habitat that sustains it.

Our roots in the Oceanside area of Eastern Vancouver Island go back 100 years. We marked our centennial in 2012. Shoot

Our Mission
  1. To propagate, preserve, and protect fish, game, and the environment, on behalf of the general public;
  2. To advocate the enactment of legislation for the protection and preservation of fish, game, and the environment;
  3. To promote an appreciation of sportsmanlike methods in angling and hunting;
  4. To create and foster a public sentiment in favour of (a), (b), and (c);
  5. To encourage the study and record of the Club history;
  6. To cooperate with all associations, agencies, or departments having similar objectives;
  7. To encourage and support science based fish, land and wildlife management;
  8. To promote education courses in hunter training and shooting sports;
  9. To provide facilities for recreation and amateur competition in shooting sports, including rifle, trap, skeet, handgun, archery, etc.;
  10. To do such other things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objectives.

Henry Rifle Range

The 100 yard Henry Rifle Range

Named for Henry Estlin and Henry Jackson, both longtime club members who could both still hit the ten-ring at a ripe old age, this is a federally certified and licenced 100-yard range.

Surrounded by high earth berms, the range floor is protected by anti-ricochet berms. The range is located at the intersection of Highways 19 and 19A on Chattell Road in Parksville, B.C.

Dorman Range

Shotgun

This is a fully licensed, well equipped, clay pigeon shooting range, located on Dorman Road in North Qualicum.

It attracts people from all across Vancouver Island and shooters young and old, male and female, at all levels of expertise are welcome.

A comfortable clubhouse provides refreshments and a place to watch all the action on shoot days.

Arrowsmith Archers

A division of Parksville-Qualicum Fish & Game Association

The Parksville-Qualicum Fish and Game Association has an active archery club known as Arrowsmith Archers. The club is affiliated with the British Columbia Archery Association (BCAA) and is involved in the Junior Olympic program (JOP). The club welcomes archers of all ages, both youth and adult.
