Join the Wetlands Education Program team in Parksville-Qualicum Beach for a FREE 1.5-day workshop August 20-21 in partnership with the Mid Vancouver Island Habitat Enhancement Society and Arrowsmith Naturalists.
This workshop will introduce you to wetland ecosystems, plant identification, and basic mapping skills that will help you protect and conserve wetlands! Wetlands can filter water, mitigate flooding, and provide critical habitat to hundreds of species, but unfortunately, they are disappearing at an alarming rate and need our protection.
