While we do not have an active fishing component in our Association, we do share a partnership with the following two local fishing groups:

Mid Island Castaways Fly Fishing Club

The Castaways club is a club that welcomes anyone with an interest in angling using artificial flies, regardless of their skill level. They have various programs such as an introduction to Fly Fishing course, Fly Tying courses and Casting clinics. The Club also shares information on where and how to fish for local species and include regular FISH OUTS. The hold monthly meetings to share information.

French Creek Tyee Club on Facebook:

This is a local group from French Creek Harbour that shares information on local Saltwater fishing. They are one of the PQFGA Marion Baker Hatchery enhancement program sponsors and have members of the PQFGA involved in the group
