Dorman Range Sporting Clays ShootLast one for 2023 - "THE FOOD BANK SHOOT"
Bring along a cash or food donation for the Oceanside Food Bank. They really need our help this year.
There will be trophies and prizes, a shooter's draw, and a giant raffle for one of Mike Fall's farm fresh turkeys, a gas fire pit, and a $50 gift certificate at Deez. Bring an extra $10 dollars for this one.
Sporting clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting, often described as 'golf with a shotgun' because a typical course includes from 10 - 15 different shooting stations laid out over natural terrain.
Unlike trap and skeet, which are games of repeatable target presentations, sporting clays simulates the unpredictability of live-quarry shooting, offering a great variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes.
