Register now for a Women Outdoors Weekend in Cowichan Lake! This is a three-day, all-inclusive experience like no other. If you are interested in fishing and hunting, boating and hiking, or art and nature photography, the Lake Cowichan WOW getaway is for you.
Women enjoy a full weekend of workshops designed to give you the skills and confidence you need to safely enjoy everything that British Columbia has to offer. Accommodation, meals, and equipment are included so you can focus on learning with expert instructors and enjoying great company in a supportive environment.
Space is limited and course selection is first-come, first-served. Evenings are social time and may include campfires, fun, and song. This is an alcohol and cannabis-free event.
Workshops may include hiking and wilderness safety, archery and marksmanship, off-road driving, fishing basics, fire starting and axe safety, kayaking, truck and trailer, small game preparation, and wildlife drawing and photography.
When: Friday May 24 - Sunday May 26, 2024
Where: Cowichan Lake Education Centre, Vancouver Island
Cost:- Members: $399.99 (+GST)
- Non-members: $455.99 (+GST), which includes a one-year membership to the B.C. Wildlife Federation.
Fees include instruction in all sessions, program materials, use of equipment, meals, and lodgings.
