National Range Day
Open House at the Henry Range
Saturday, June 4th
10 am -2 pm
1245 Chattell Rd, Parksville, BC
The Parksville Qualicum Fish & Game Assn. will be joining with similar clubs across Canada by participating in the first annual National Range Day. Our plan is to host an open house inviting the public and members to a day of shooting sports fun.
Our association's values are firmly rooted in the conservation ethic with approximately half of our thousand plus members actively engaged in shooting sports. We wish to invite you to join us this coming June 4 at our club facility at 1245 Chattell Rd. in Parksville on the way to Top Bridge. We're planning the event to go from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
There will be a large crew of qualified instructors and coaches on hand for lots of active participation especially for novice shooters. Introducing the public to the fun and safety of shooting sports is what this day is all about.
Guests can try their hand at various shooting sports from archery, through rim-fire and center fire rifle, handgun to muzzle loader rifle (black powder - lots of "gunsmoke"). The barbecue will be in production with hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch, by donation.
